Mark Zuckerberg(born May 14, 1984) is a Harvard computer science student who created and launched Facebook, world’s most popular social platform till now with his friends. in 2008, Zuckerberg became the youngest billionaire at the age of 24.

Early Life

Mark Zuckerberg was born in White plains, New York as the second child of dentist Edward Zuckerberg and his wife psychiatrist Karen Zuckerberg. Mark and his three sisters, Randi, Donna, and Arielle were raised in Dobbs Ferry, New York.

Zuckerberg began programming in his high schools because of active support of his father. Edward taught all the basics of programming to his 11 years son and hired a software developer David Newman to give private lessons to him. In 1997, Mark developed a local computer network called Zucknet, from that he can communicate all the computers of his homes and his father’s office via Ping. Later, he developed many games like a computer version of risk set in Roman Empire.

Harvard University

After completion of Higher level, Mark joined Harvard University where he studied psychology and computer science. At that time he wrote a program called Course Match which allowed it’s users to make class selection decisions and also to help them to form a study group. He also invented Facemash which is program that can find the most attractive person of the campus.

Finding Facebook

While at Harvard University, Mark Zuckerberg founded the facebook, an application whose intention is to be reliable directory based on real information about students at Harvard. That software eventually launched in 2004 and then he never looked back. He became youngest billionaire of the world in 2008 and now in todays date his net worth is 100 Billion which makes him fourth richest person on the planet.

Marriage and Family:

In his second year of collage, Mark met medical student Priscilla Chan. In September 2010, they started living together and on May 19, 2012, they were married. Today, the couple have two children, Maxima Chan Zuckerberg and August Chan Zuckerberg. The Zuckerberg family is of Jewish heritage although Mark stated himself as an atheist.

Mark is currently president and chief executive officer at facebook in Menlo Park, California.
